Heritage Park – Heritage Park Drive, Castle Hill, NSW 2154

*UPDATE* Due to repeated attacks by vandals, the baby change table in the toilets will not be replaced. We thank the Hills Shire Council for keeping us informed.

Overall: Basic. Lovely park to visit, but BYO change mats because the change table has been vandalised.

Good Points: New buildings, easily accessible (no steps). Change table, sink and soap. Door locks from the inside. Hook on the back of the door to hang nappy bags. Toilet and toilet paper. Very clear signs.

Bad Points: Damaged change table. No hand dryer or paper towels.

It’s a lovely park in the middle of suburbia with significant historical links (these are detailed through sign posts throughout the park).Easy parking, lots of walking and bike tracks. 2 nice big picnic areas with tables and shelter. BBQ’s also available. Lots of bird life and areas to explore. Some play equipment but more suited to 5+yr olds. They recently replaced their demountable toilet block with a permanent one which I was excited to check out.It however, had been sadly vandalised 🙁 the toilets and sinks were fine (very heavy duty though so vandal proof!!) but the plastic change table was burnt and just seemed yucky.I personally would be more comfortable using a blanket on the grass than the table. It was disappointing that the new facilities had been so recklessly damaged but I thought I would post about them anyway :)’
