Windsor Marketplace – Kable Street, Windsor NSW 2756

Overall: Pretty good (a nice surprise). Nappy change, rest, feed

Good Points: Well sign posted. Comfortable leather rocking chairs. Two large private feeding cubicles. Two change benches. Sink. Microwave.

Bad Points: Minimal bench space. No powerpoints in cubicles. No kiddie toilet. Curtains for privacy. Awkward positioned change benches.

Windsor is a little town located on the outskirts  of north west Sydney. The historic town in the edge of the Hawkesbury River attracts a number of day trippers enjoying the peaceful surrounds, river,  cute cafes and shops.

We played it safe when bubs was in need of a nappy change by wandering in to the local Marketplace and easily found the well signposted facilities.

As expected the room was basic with extremely comfortable rocking leather chairs. Two cubicles are separated by light weight curtain which is spacious enough to fit a trolley or double pram.

The room offers two changing benches separated by a single sink. A basic microwave is available for heating bottles and food.

The problem here is that the change basins are sunk into the benches lengthways  which is a rather awkward changing angle. I think they may have been designed by a man.

Pros – super large feeding cubicles with clean and comfortable rocking chairs.

Cons – in addition to the awkward changing angle, there is no kiddie toilet so parents with prams or children must use the disabled facilities.   There are no power points in the cubicles if you were hoping to express. Not a huge amount of bench space available.
